But, the writing style really does give the book such a lift and it’s super enjoyable to hear the narration from six different characters who all lived a life we all low-key dream about, if even for five minutes when we are 10.Īt times, it did get irritating to constantly have to read the name before each line of the story to know who was talking. And, guess what? It WAS fun to read and I DID end up enjoying it, after all that! To set expectations here, it wasn’t the most incredible book I’ve ever laid eyes on. Everyone and their mother has read it at this point and talked about how fun the writing style is, since it takes place almost as if you’re reading a raw interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
